Rand Paul Cancels Meet the Press Appearance
After possibly his first meeting with an intelligent opponent in Rachel Maddow, Rand Paul (son of Ron Paul, fellow possessor of the mental state of a 12 year old) has become the third major guest to cancel an appearance on Meet the Press in its 62 year history. via TPM

Obviously someone who does not trust himself to carry on an intelligent conversation with a journalist about politics makes for a perfect American politican, a la 'W'. In fact, he should have gone through with the interview, and by sounding like an idiot, would have become even more impressive to Americans who view intelligence as elitist. Either way, the conservatives can't lose.
